Abby Gaines is a New Zealand romance novelist best known for writing contemporary romance novels for Harlequin Superromance and historical romances for Love Inspired Historical. Before becoming a full-time novelist, she worked as a business journalist after earning a university degree in languages (French, German, Japanese, and Spanish). Her novels often feature family relationships, second chances, small-town settings, and occasionally NASCAR-themed romances.
