Alan Handley (March 11, 1912 – January 5, 1990) was an American television director, producer, actor, and mystery novelist. He began his career as a stage actor before serving in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. After the war, he became one of television’s leading directors, working on programs such as The Dinah Shore Show and The Julie Andrews Show, for which he won a 1966 Emmy Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Variety or Music. In addition to his television career, Handley published two mystery novels.
