Amanda Renée (Amanda Renee)

Amanda Renee is an American author best known for writing contemporary and western romance novels for Harlequin and Mills & Boon.

She was raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and later settled in coastal South Carolina. According to her official biography, she began writing at about nine years old but did not seriously pursue a writing career until receiving praise for a school essay on music censorship. After initially attempting suspense fiction, she shifted to contemporary romance.

Her professional career began after being discovered through Harlequin’s So You Think You Can Write contest in 2012–2013. She signed with Harlequin and has since become a bestselling romance author. Many of her novels feature ranches, rodeos, cowboys, and family-centered western settings, with some stories incorporating hippotherapy (horse-assisted therapy).

Amanda Renée has received several honors, including:

2014 Golden Quill Award (Best Category Series) for Home to the Cowboy
Runner-up in the 2014 New England Readers’ Choice Awards for Blame It on the Rodeo
