Ami Weaver is an American author of contemporary romance novels, best known for writing for the Harlequin Romance and Harlequin Special Edition lines. A two-time finalist for the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart® Award, she began writing stories in middle school and later became an award-winning romance novelist. Her unpublished manuscripts won or placed in several contests, including the Maggie Award, the Marlene Award, Harlequin’s “So You Think You Can Write” contest, and Mills & Boon’s New Voices competition.

Weaver lives in Michigan with her husband, four children, and several cats. Her fiction typically features small-town settings, family relationships, second chances, and emotionally driven contemporary romances.
