Notes for collectors
- #1 Song of the West is generally considered the most desirable Silhouette Special Edition because it was the inaugural book in the line and written by Nora Roberts.
- Early numbers #1–#50 – often carry a premium regardless of author simply because many copies were heavily read and discarded.
- Signed copies by Nora Roberts can sell for $200–500+, depending on condition and provenance.
- Books with original price stickers removed cleanly, uncreased spines, white pages, and no bookstore stamps are worth significantly more than average reading copies.
