Anne Marie Duquette is an American author best known for writing contemporary romance novels for the Harlequin and Silhouette lines between the late 1980s and early 2010s. She wrote more than twenty novels, many featuring military, law enforcement, wilderness, and family themes.
She was raised in a military family, living throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Her father served as a U.S. Air Force pilot and her mother was an Air Force nurse. She later married a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and also served in the U.S. Navy herself.
Duquette earned a degree in Mass Communications (Journalism, Television, and Film) from Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville. Before becoming a full-time novelist, she worked in photography and other creative fields. Her military background and extensive travel influenced the settings and characters in many of her novels.
