Ann Voss Peterson is an American author best known for writing romantic suspense, thrillers, and mystery novels. She has published more than 30 novels, with over 3 million copies of her books in print worldwide. She is the winner of the Daphne du Maurier Award and has been a finalist for the RITA Award, two well-known honors in the romance and suspense writing community.
Studied Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin.
Before becoming a full-time novelist, she worked in a variety of occupations, including:
proofreading legal transcripts
grooming show horses
washing windows
other jobs that later inspired settings and characters in her fiction.
Her first published novel, Inadmissible Passion, appeared in 2000 through Harlequin Intrigue.
She lives near Madison, Wisconsin, with her family and a Border Collie.
