Alice Sharpe is an American author of romance and romantic suspense novels.

Born: Sacramento, California, USA.
As a child she wrote plays for neighborhood children and produced a handwritten family newspaper.
Shortly after high school she married her husband, whom she met while walking on a beach in northern California.
She and her husband raised two children while spending years living on sailboats and building a home.
She began her professional writing career by selling short stories to confession magazines after her work was rejected by mainstream women’s magazines.
Her first novel sale was to a small publisher through an editor she had previously worked with. She later wrote for Avalon, Silhouette, Kensington, and Harlequin Intrigue.
She has stated that Agatha Christie was a major influence on her reading and that romantic suspense became her preferred genre.
